The opposition, coming from groups like the Riverkeepers, who seem to be against just about everything, are trying to make this project about coal. So let’s get the facts straight: this project has nothing to do with coal, it’s about relieving traffic congestion at the intersection. As a byproduct of relieving congestion, an upgraded intersection will help grow family-wage jobs and help our community prosper.
